Bunker One continues its growth strategy – expands in the Caribbean

Bunker One is pleased to announce that as of 1 December 2018 the company will be fully operational in Jamaican ports, off Jamaica and Trinidad – operated by two highly specialised tankers.

As an independent and financially strong physical supplier, Bunker One now offers an essential refuelling solution by virtue of their geographic locations. The company is hereby strategically poised to make major inroads to strengthen their physical supply position in the region. These bunkering service centers will cater to all sectors of the maritime business.

The MT KALYMNOS and MT KEFLONIA are highly specialised tankers fit specifically for bunkering operations in ports and offshore operations with safety as the absolute top priority. Georgia Kounalakis and Theodoris Motsenigos will be responsible for all commercial and operational matters. They will ensure that the high standards set by Bunker One for quality, safety and service delivery are met at all times.

About the operation:

Bunker One will be offering supply of RMK500 / RMG380 / MGO 0,1 in all locations within Kingston Harbour inner and outer anchorage, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Port Esquival, Rocky Point, Port Antonia, OPL Jamaica and OPL Trinidad.

  • MV KALYMNOS (IMO : 9382126) – IFO Capacity : 5200 mts / MGO Capacity : 900 mts – Major approved.

  • MV KEFLONIA (IMO: 9382188) – IFO Capacity : 5200 mts / MGO Capacity: 900 mts – Major approved.
